First Aid Courses – Update

All courses will be or are on the region calendar published in the South Coast Scouting Magazine.

You will need to book in via the Region Office using an L1 form as attached please.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to email to me.

Provide First Aid

DATE:   Sunday 30 March 2014 (mainly for dragonskin people, limited numbers)
TIME:   Start 845am sharp, plan to be finished no later than 530pm
VENUE:   Sutherland Guide Hall, southern end of Eton Street, Sutherland – apologies for any inconvenience, Walter had his locations mixed up in the original email.
COST:   $80 per person – please bring with you (cheques made out to Walter Waerner)
BRING:   a pen, your lunch, and a foam mat if kneeling on the floor (eg CPR) is tough on your knees!
DRESS:   Uniforms not required. It could be cold or hot in the hall depending on the weather.
FOOD:   Morning and afternoon tea is provided, shops are nearby as well for lunch.
COURSE:   HLTFA301C Provide First Aid (the old senior first aid).

 

DATE:   Saturday 17 May 2014 – as advertised previously
TIME:   Start 845am sharp, plan to be finished no later than 530pm
VENUE:   North Wollongong Scout Hall, Virginia Street, North Wollongong
COST:   $80 per person – please bring with you (cheques made out to Walter Waerner)

Remote First Aid

DATE:   17/18 May 2014 (starts at 6.00pm Saturday evening) – as advertised previously
TIME:   Start 6.00pm, plan to be finished no later than midday Sunday
VENUE:   Mt Keira Scout Camp, meet in the main carpark
COST:   $80 per person (bring with you, cheques made out to Walter Waerner)
PREREQUISITE:   HLTFA301C Provide First Aid (senior first aid)
INFO:   Will come from Walter in regards to what you need to bring
