Welcome to the South Coast & Tablelands Scouting Region environment page.
Our region stretches from the snow-capped mountains of the Australian Alps to the dramatic sandstone cliffs of the Illawarra Escarpment, with our very own Mt Keira Scout Camp nestled within the subtropical and warm temperate rainforest of the Sydney Basin Bioregion (OEH, 2011).
Through environment camps and tailored programmes, we aim to encourage scouts of all ages to ‘Think Globally, Act Locally’ by stepping outside and exploring their local environment.
